Marguerite will jointly invest Rebi in the development of urban heating networks to be located in municipalities characterized by an average annual heating and hot water demand of 8,000 kWh per household in Spain. These networks will be designed to reach total annual heat deliveries to final customers of at least 80 GWh. These heating networks will be fuelled with sustainable biomass sourced from cleaning of local forests and potentially hybridized using waste heat from local industries, thereby contributing to the circular economy and improving energy efficiency.
